April Bowen Harrison

April is licensed as a Senior Psychological Examiner, Health Service Provider, and has been working in the mental health field since 1999. April received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Montevallo in 1998, and completed her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University in 2001. April enjoys working with a variety of age groups, and has a passion for helping others with anxiety, depression, women’s issues (including postpartum), adjustment to life changes, and stress management. Her therapy approach includes support and laughter, along with learning and applying new coping skills through cognitive-behavioral methods.
