Cindy is a licensed clinical social worker returning to private practice having taken time off to raise her three children. She obtained her undergraduate degree in social work form Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, her hometown. Cindy obtained her masters degree in social work from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee where she previously worked in community mental health and private practice.
Cindy offers counseling for children and adults with behavioral and mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment, as well as parenting to caregivers. She utilizes various therapeutic treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as art and play therapy interventions.
