Kim Stroud-Hendrick

OWNER/LCSW

Kim is the owner of Hendrick Counseling Services and opened the practice in 1998. A native of Lebanon, Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has been involved in the mental health field since 1991. She received both her Bachelor’s degree (Psychology) and Master’s degree (Social Work) from the University of Tennessee.

Individual Care

Kim has a heart for helping others navigate through life’s obstacles by exploring opportunities for change and self-awareness. Kim is solution focused and concrete in the care that she provides to individuals ages 19+. She believes, that together, she and her clients can identify and process negative thoughts & emotions that impact their behaviors and decisions. She has experience in assisting individuals with relationship & family issues, work struggles, life transitions, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief, emotional distress, stress, and anger management.

Anger Management Coaching

Kim is a Certified Anger Management provider (through Century Anger Management) and offers an 8 session individual program for adolescents and adults. For more information regarding Anger Management, please click here.

Nursing Home and Assisted Living Care

Kim provides one on one counseling to individuals in residential settings. She brings her counseling skills to the facility so as to offer convenience to the resident. Kim offers feedback to the staff and families in addition to a progress note of the session.

April Bowen Harrison

M.A., LSPE, HSP

April is licensed as a Senior Psychological Examiner, Health Service Provider, and has been working in the mental health field since 1999. April received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Montevallo in 1998, and completed her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University in 2001. April enjoys working with a variety of age groups, and has a passion for helping others with anxiety, depression, women’s issues (including postpartum), adjustment to life changes, and stress management. Her approach includes cognitive-behavioral methods, EMDR, and mindfulness along with support and laughter.

Suzanne Prince, Hendrick Counseling Services

Suzanne (she/open) has been a counselor for over 30 years and believes that each of us needs support and guidance from time to time in our lives. Life can be difficult, and it can be beneficial to talk to someone who isn’t emotionally involved in our story. Fresh ideas and insight can give us hope when we feel hopeless about our current life situation. Suzanne works with adolescents, adults and elders who are experiencing: sexual and gender identity exploration, spiritual diversity, personal growth, religious trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship dynamics, life changes, menopause, aging, family of origin issues, grief, and trauma. Suzanne is an EMDR Trained Clinician. Suzanne provides counseling care via Telehealth through Zoom.

Everyone deserves a listening ear to hear their story when things get hard. Someone to support and validate their narrative when they feel unheard. Andréa offers a non-judgmental, safe environment for all who seek counseling. She enjoys partnering with individuals to understand their experiences, heal negative belief systems, and live empowered lives. Andréa provides clients with a supportive environment where therapy sessions are collaborative, engaging, and tailored to an individual’s unique needs, using modalities such as CBT, EFT, and solution focused therapy. She has a background in working with children and adolescents as a camp counselor and various roles working with high school students with special needs. Andréa is passionate about working with clients 12+ on self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions.

Emily Guest-Hendrick Counseling Services

Emily Guest

PRE-LICENSED MMFT

Emily is a middle Tennessee native that is passionate about helping others. She is an MMFT under the supervision of Miller Folk (license 1381). Emily has a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and is focused on helping individuals work through grief, anxiety, depression, and OCD. These areas can also be accompanied by adjustment to family changes such as divorce and loss, and many other struggles and challenges that life might present. Emily has experience with children ages 6-12, teen girls, adult women ages 18-50, and premarital couples. She has worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, adoption, divorce, self harm/suicidal ideation, eating disorders, addiction and behavioral issues. Emily utilizes techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Grief Counseling and CBT modalities in the care that she provides.

Chris Gallaher-Hendrick Counseling Services

Chris Gallaher

M.A.

Chris a Nashville native, has spent the last 25 years working in human services and non-profit fields in Middle Tennessee. Chris graduated from Martin Methodist College where he received a B.S. in Human Services, and later attended Trevecca Nazarene University and received an M.A. in counseling. Chris is currently enrolled in the Teaching and Supervision PhD program.

Chris enjoys working with adult males, teens, and tween boys who are experiencing: Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Phobias, Relationship Issues, Trouble in School, Addiction, and Substance Abuse.

Chris, along with wife and 4 children, make their home in Lebanon, Tennessee. He enjoys traveling, Nashville sporting events and spending time with his family.
